OCHA Team – Andy Kwok

Mr. Andy Kwok is a distinguished professional with a wealth of experience in the Information and Technology fields. He currently serves as the Co-Founder and Vice President of OpenCertHub Academy, an organization dedicated to democratizing data and AI literacy for everyone.

Mr. Kwok played a pivotal role in developing the highly acclaimed Data Literacy Empowerment Programme (DLEP®) in collaboration with the founding team. The program is designed to equip corporate entities with the necessary tools to cultivate a data mindset and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.

Drawing from over 25 years of industry expertise, Mr. Kwok has held several senior-level positions in his illustrious career. Notably, he served as the Senior Manager of a prominent company within the Jardine Matheson Group, where he made significant contributions to the organization’s success. Recognizing his exceptional talents, Mr. Kwok was nominated as the Jardine Ambassador from 2011 to 2013, a testament to his outstanding leadership skills and dedication.

Before his involvement with OpenCertHub Academy, Mr. Kwok served as the Business Development Director of a leading open-source big data technology company. Driven by his unwavering passion for big data development, he participated in the “B4B Big Data Challenge” in 2016, emerging as the Champion in the “Smart City Stream,” showcasing his exceptional capabilities and innovative thinking.

In addition to his leadership roles, Mr. Kwok holds the position of Founding Fellow at the Data and AI Literacy Association (DALA) and serves as the Head of Operation at the Data Mindset Academy in Hong Kong. Mr. Kwok also supports the younger generation by serving as a mentor at Hang Seng University Hong Kong since 2022.

Mr. Kwok holds a Master’s Degree in Knowledge Management from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
